Cedar Park is one of the fastest growing cities in the country. Most of Cedar Park is newly built and has a modern suburban feel to it. Family-oriented suburban city with great schools. Lots of family events. Great place for first-time homebuyers, Pflugerville offers homes below the Austin median price. Which is surprising, considering some of the homes are well-appointed and lie adjacent to Greenbelts or rest in private cul-de-sacs. Newly built highways nearby and a close commute to downtown Austin make Pflugerville worth a look. Round Rock was recently ranked the #2 fastest growing city in the U.S. Located north of Austin & Pflugerville, Round Rock offers a great quality of life and is made up of mostly suburbs. Tons of stores & restaurants, highly-ranked schools make Round Rock a great place to raise a family. Just west of Austin is the town of Bastrop. Many homes are situated on large acreage, and the downtown of Bastrop has local events and parades typical of a small Texas town. NE of Austin and south of Pflugerville is Manor. Manor is a town similar to Bastrop, but with the exception of ShadowGlen: a master-planned community built from the nation's top builders and a highly-rated golf course.
